Security
INDOM handles products in the field of security, for protecting both individuals and buildings.
Tailor-made solutions
We are able to propose wire and radio anti-intrusion systems, with both indoors and perimetral protection, CCTV video-surveillance systems with either analog products or IP protocol, fire detection systems, access control. All of this using professional brands, known around the world, provided with all necessary certification for installation in any kind of environment.

Anti-intrusion
If you want to feel safer at home or protect your company, the only way is to protect the most exposed areas with a theft-prevention system. The most appropriate defence system must take into account facility of access to the interior and the urban context where the building is located.
Our technicians are able to design the system and carry out installation choosing the system most appropriate to the customer’s need.

CCTV
Closed circuit TV (CCTV) means the use of cameras transmitting the signal towards specific or limited sets of monitors and/or video-recorders. CCTV systems are used for video-surveillance of indoors and outdoors areas.
Today, CCTV systems are mainly used as passive security systems, that is as systems which record 24/7, and whenever an act of hooliganism, an attack or any similar event takes place, the recorded images are analysed to investigate the deed.
CCTV cameras usually prefer extreme sensitivity to the light and high adaptability to situations of backlight and different kinds of lighting.

Fire prevention
The smoke and fire detection devices are the element of the fire-prevention system which allow one to detect a fire as soon as it breaks out and generally speaking, are electronic devices which communicate with the fire prevention alarm station.
They must be placed on the ceiling, simply because both smoke and fire move upwards.
We can distinguish three categories:
- smoke detectors
- heat detectors
- flame detectors
In all three cases, the detectors have electronic circuits able to restrict false alarms as far as possible.

Access control
Control of access is a subsystem of security which deals with controlling passages and doors using electronic systems called badge readers or biometric readers. Various techniques are used to make them which determine the type used. Access control is not just an electronic or electromechanical door opener, as one is generally led to think, it is a way to make an environment safer. In fact, it ensures that unauthorised individuals may not access reserved places.
The usefulness of this subsystem appears not only in security issues, but also in regulating access by people exclusively to the areas assigned to them, checking the time they came in and went out.
It may also be useful to activate/deactivate security systems, regulate the flow of people inside a building, memorise transit and prohibit entry at certain times or on holidays.
